• Turn water off at main valve
• Turn water heater off at fuse box
• Leave air on to prevent mold (78-80 degrees)
• Cover toilets with saran wrap to keep water from evaporating & creatures from entering
• Arrange for someone to flush your toilets monthly
• Take everything off your lanai and close the sliders, lock & block them if possible
• Close blinds/curtains on beach side to prevent furniture from fading
• Remove screens from windows
• All open food should be placed in air tight containers
• Turn ice maker off
• Unplug all appliances, including TV’s, computers, clocks, lamps, etc.
• Clean stove & refrigerator, leave door ajar
• Change air filter in air conditioning unit, pour some bleach down the drain
• Have someone check your unit weekly
• You are responsible for the interior of your unit; the Board asks that you take responsibility seriously to avoid damage to your home and your neighbor’s home.
